Across the Ocean Shipping small effort as these devastating bushfires take their toll

4 min read

Like the rest of Australia, Across the Ocean Shipping are in shock at the destruction of Life and property currently being experienced across our beautiful country, caused by the unprecedented bush fires. Their thoughts go out to all victims, emergency workers, animals and everyone affected by these devastating fires. They hope you and all your family and friends are safe and protected.

Here at Across the Ocean Shipping, they will be donating $10 from every January Booking received by our Australian offices to: The Salvation Army Disaster Appeal.

The Salvos are “providing meals to evacuees and frontline responders, and will continue to provide whatever support is needed as the situation develops”.

With our headquarters based in Melbourne, they continue to suffer the effects of smoke haze which is covering our city but are crucially aware of the sanctity they have around us, and wish those caught in the danger zones a safe passage throughout and protection against this disaster.

If you wish to donate directly to the Salvos, follow the link here:

About All-in-One Logistics Network (AiO):

The AiO concept is all about leveraging strengths as a group.

Every logistics company in the world has its own strong points which depend upon the professional capabilities of their people, the needs of their customers and the aims and goals of the company. That has meant that some companies might handle only one type of cargo whereas other companies are experienced in more than one type of cargo. Until now this has meant that most independent freight forwarders need to join a few networks to cover each of their areas of expertise. We have changed all that.

When your company joins AiO you have the opportunity to enroll in various specialties including commercial cargo, project cargo, international removals, perishables and exhibition freight. From these specialties we form smaller groups specifically concentrated around that exact expertise. As such you will find that you have qualified companies for all your cargo all over the world, in one network. And they are all covered under the same financial protection. When you meet these companies at our annual general meeting you will only meet companies who are working in the type cargo that is of interest to your company so you can focus like a laser beam on the markets that will make your company grow and become more profitable.

It is plain to see that AiO’s revolutionary approach creates efficiencies for independent international logistics companies that did not exist before. We mean to open an entire world of freight and logistics opportunities to your company in a way that will make your customers happy, in a way that will feed your bottom line and in a way that will keep sales growing in your pipeline.

Logistics is a word that you would see most often on the side of trucks. it might sound like a simple-enough business of moving things around, but it is growing to be more complex than this. Good logistics can make all the difference to a company’s ability to serve its clients. In an ever changing world of commerce, where the process of doing business with end users keeps evolving, the importance of logistics becomes more prevalent. At 2020 Logistics we know that the word has an even bigger meaning: it is all about the management of the flow of materials through an organisation, from raw materials to finished goods – ensuring the successful delivery of the right product to the right place at the right time. The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination to always apply the best of ourselves to any situation. Our aim is to follow a forward-thinking, proactive approach to all shipments thereby ensuring that all global freight forwarding and procurement challenges are effectively managed. At 2020 Logistics we have a clear vision in mind – to ensure we do everything we can, to move your business forward.
