Cargo Club Forwarders has expanded its services with the opening of a new area dedicated to project cargo. In this way, the forwarding company directed by Montse Nomen extends its air, sea and land transport activities to heavy cargo, a sector with great global growth projections.

To announce the start of the commercialization and coordination of the special transport service, Montse Nomen and Dora Homs, CEO and commercial director of RORO and project cargo of Cargo Club Forwarders, respectively, visited the Antwerp XL fair, held in Antwerp at the beginning of October.

This event is dedicated exclusively to breakbulk and heavy lift, with an exhibition and congress, as well as the presence of more than 150 exhibitors from 30 different countries, highlighting the participation of Europeans, but also counting companies from the Far and Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and North America.

In parallel to Cargo Club Forwarders’ new initiative in the heavy lift business, the incorporation of the aforementioned Dora Homs into the Cargo Club Forwarders team, a professional with extensive knowledge and experience in the field of RORO and project cargo, is a key factor in its development.

During their stay in Brussels during the Antwerp XL fair, the Cargo Club Forwarders managers held meetings with some of the main heavy lift operators in the world, as well as agents specialized in large cargo.

Cargo Club Forwarders, based in Barcelona, is also a promoter of the World Wine Cargo Alliance (WWCA), an international alliance of area freight forwarders specializing in the transport of wine and other alcoholic beverages.
