Darka Complete Small Project for a United Nations Peacekeeping Force

Darka recently successfully executed the transportation, export customs clearance, stevedoring/ loading and vessel handling for a small project for one of the United Nations Peace Keeping forces.

The cargo arrived at 4 separate locations including Kutum, Malha, Mellit, El Fasher (Zam Zam) to Port Sudan Port for further export to South Africa.

The cargo consisted of 233 pieces of equipment and break bulk with a total of 8500 FRT. The overall distance from the Darfur region where the loading points where was approximately 2500 km and Darka successfully delivered the cargo alongside the vessel in a timely manner.
