The entire cargo had dimensions of 15.00 x 8.30 x 8.70 meters and a gross weight of 159 tons. The cargo was transported from a supplier in Eastern Finland to a paper mill site in Southern Sweden.
FREJA’s scope of work included:
– Pre-carriage from supplier to Lappeenranta port
– Roll-on operation from quayside onto barge
– Barge transport via Saimaa channel to South Sweden
– Roll-off operation and on-carriage to site
The whole operation ran smoothly and was handled safely and on time.
